Heads up: Subscribers will need to update their app to at least version 1.222 to see the latest Community updates (longer videos, audio recordings, threaded replies, filters, search, more emoji reactions, and gallery view).
Your Community is a private space where you and your paying subscribers connect outside of workouts. It’s one of the most powerful tools you have to grow your business, and here’s why:
Active communities earn more. Creators with the most active communities earn about 72% more revenue per subscriber than creators whose communities are quiet.
It keeps subscribers around longer. Community keeps people showing up and working out, and subscribers who stay in the habit stay subscribed longer. Subscribers who engage in your community are about 35% less likely to cancel than those who stay silent.
The audience is already yours. Most of your subscribers haven't joined your community yet, so this is untapped value sitting in the audience you already have.
Beyond the numbers, community builds real loyalty. Members who feel like part of a team are more likely to stick with you, cheer each other on, and recommend you to others. It is also a direct line for feedback, so you can learn exactly what your subscribers want more of.
This guide will show you how to set it up and make the most of it.
First, here's a quick overview of the Community feature:
Want to see how Community looks and works on web? We have a walkthrough here!
Here's how the Community feature works:
Navigate to the Social tab on the creator app to enable the feature. You can enable and disable it via the Offers section in the dashboard.
When you enable it, your subscribers will be able to see a new Community tab within your profile on the consumer app.
To create a post, tap on the "Create" icon in the app or the message input in the Creator Dashboard.
You can use this to announce new workouts and updates, share your knowledge and tips, or collect feedback!
You can attach images, videos, and audio recordings.
Images. Attach multiple images in your post to drive engagement.
Longer videos. You can upload or record long video clips to post inside your community. Use them often to stay in touch with your Subscribers, start conversations, and drive action inside your programs.
Audio recordings. You can record audio posts right in the app and share them alongside text, photos, or video, perfect for quick voice notes to your community.
Click anywhere on the post to view the full post and comments. Tap the message input to leave a comment.
Threaded Replies
You and your Subscribers can reply directly to a specific comment, keeping conversations organized and on-topic. Instead of every response landing at the bottom of the post, replies stay attached to the comment they belong to.
Reactions
Tap the emoji icon to add a reaction. You and your community have emoji reactions to choose from, so you can express yourselves better on any post or comment.
Gallery View
Multiple images in a single post will show in gallery view, making conversations easier to read as you scroll. Multiple images group together neatly instead of stretching the thread out.
Finding Content
Filters
Subscribers can filter the community view by all posts, coach-only posts, or their own posts. The coach-only filter is a great alternative to relying on pinned posts for key announcements. Subscribers can jump straight to everything you've shared.
Search
Search within the community to find posts on specific topics, yours or your Subscribers'.
This makes it easy to resurface a past announcement, a popular discussion, or a question you answered before.
Interacting With Your Community
Email Look Up & Reply in DM
You can easily look up the email address of a user from a Community post. You can also reply to the user via DMs.
On your Creator Dashboard, tap on Community and navigate to the relevant Community post. Click on the three dot symbol and select the "Reply in DM" option.
Notes:
If the user has opted out of emails, these options will not be shown.
DMs are an "On or Off" dependent feature on the Subscription or Offer that a user has purchased, this option may not be available for some products or creators.
If DMs are "On" for Subscriptions but "Off" for all OTP Offers, then a user who only has an OTP Offer will not be able to receive a DM. The button won't appear for you, the creator, to use.
You will automatically be redirected to your Direct Messages section and dialog with this user.
Same procedure on Mobile.
Mark DMs as Unread
Ideal for leaving something "Unread" so that you can revisit it later. This will mark the entire thread as unread and a visual marker of what message was marked as Unread will be present.
To do this:
Long press any individual message from a User.
Tap the "Mark as Unread."
"Unread" bar will be shown at that message.
Promotion Tools
Tagging your Channel (@)
You can tag your entire Community. This results in a highlighted post and a push notification being sent to your whole community.
Simply type @community into any message. The app will autofill or you can type the entire phrase. A Push notification will be sent to all members of the community.
Entering Text Hyperlinks
Your community post text can include links that redirect to outside pages. All links open in an External browser. If a matching app is found on device (i.e. Spotify Link) then the app is launched.
Users can long-press to view a drawer that allows for "copy link" or "open in external browser."
Pinned Messages
You can now pin a post and it will be highlighted at the top of your Community. These are shown as a group and can be expanded. Max of 5 pinned posts.
If you pin a 6th post, the oldest post will be automatically unpinned.
Ideal for: "I'm selling X or promoting Y, check out my Pinned Posts in the Community."
All normal functionality for a post is included (no restriction for starting a thread inside or anything). You should be aware that Users CAN comment on and engage with a pinned post.
Use the 3 dots and tap "Pin to the Top."
Moderating Your Community
A Cleaner Admin View
You can now manage and moderate all your community posts from one place.
Reported posts, blocked users, and pinned announcements all live in one spot within the Community tab of the Creator Dashboard, making it faster to keep your space healthy and on-brand.
Tap the ellipsis icon in the corner to delete your post or comment. As a creator, you can also delete members' posts and comments in your community if they seem inappropriate.
You also have the ability to block users from your community. You can do this by tapping the "Block User" option from the menu.
Blocked users are able to browse your community but they will not be able to engage by adding reactions, posts, or comments.
Subscribers can report sensitive content by selecting the "Report" option from the menu. They will be prompted to provide a reason for reporting the post or comment.
You should receive an email notification when a post or comment is reported in your community.
When a post or comment receives 3 or more unique reports, we will automatically hide it until you take action.
You can manage reported content by tapping "Reported Content" within the Community tab in the Creator Dashboard. Here you can decide whether to keep a post or comment in the Community, delete it or block the user.

Yes, simply paste the link and it will become clickable and hyperlinked when you post.

Do users get push notifications when there is activity in the community?
Yes, users are notified via push notifications when someone reacts to their post or comment, comments on their post, or when you (creator) share a post.
We also display a red dot indicator next to the Community tab when there is new activity within the feed.
You can also toggle notifications in the creator app, to be notified when a member posts in your community or comments on your post.
Who can join my community?
There are no established gatekeeping or onboarding rules you can set (like in a Facebook group).
Users will be prompted to accept general community guidelines to join the community and engage in it.
However, all subscribers will have access to your community. We don't yet have the ability to segment or filter by certain user types.
