Understanding Workout Structures: Programs vs Categories
With the latest Creator App update, all your workouts are now organized under Collections, which contain either Programs or Categories.
Programs are structured sequences of workouts, and can follow either a Week/Day or Series format.
Categories are themed groupings of one-off workouts, like “Abs” or “Stretching.”
Tip: You can switch between Program and Category anytime using the toggle.
How to Reorder Workouts in a Program
Programs can follow one of two sub-structures: Week/Day or Series.
Week/Day Structure or Series Structure
This lets you assign workouts to specific weeks and days (e.g., Week 1, Day 1).
Workouts do not auto-sort by these labels—you’ll need to reorder them manually.
To reorder:
Open your Program.
Drag and drop the workouts into the correct sequence using the hamburger symbol on the right side of your app.
Tip: Make sure the manual order matches your Week/Day tags.
How to Reorder Workouts in a Category
Categories group workouts by theme and offer similar sorting options:
Newest First (Top)
Oldest First (Bottom)
Custom Order
To manually reorder (Custom Order):
Toggle OFF the "Limit # of Workouts" option.
Use drag-and-drop to rearrange workouts.
⚠️ With a workout limit active, sorting is locked to Newest First, and older workouts are hidden.
⚠️ If a workout limit is set (e.g., only latest 10 shown), Custom Order won’t be available.
Set the limit to 0 and reapply Custom Order to enable manual sorting.
🛑 With a workout limit in place, only the newest workouts are shown—older ones are hidden, even if reordered.
By choosing the right structure and adjusting the Sort By and workout limit settings, you can control exactly how your workouts appear to subscribers.
