OTP Programs → OTP Offers: What's Changing (and What's Not)

Everything you need to know now that your one-time purchases live inside Offers.

Written by Jordan Blake

We've upgraded how One-Time Purchases (OTPs) work on Playbook. The pricing, packaging, and landing pages for OTP Programs are now managed from the Offers tab.

The short version: nothing you've built is lost, no links are broken, and you don't have to do anything if you don't want to. Below is exactly what changed, what stayed the same, and where to go for each task now.

What's staying exactly the same

  • Your links still work. Every old OTP landing page and checkout link continues to redirect correctly. Nothing is broken.

  • Your presentation is untouched. Landing pages and checkout pages that were converted to Offers keep 100% of their existing look, modules, and layout.

  • Exclusive Offers are unaffected. If you want to add an Exclusive Offer, the self-serve flow in the Offer Builder works exactly as it did before.

  • Subscription Programs keep their own landing page. Only OTP Programs moved into Offers — if a Program is set to Subscription, it still has its standalone landing page in the Programs tab.

What's changing

1. Programs build the content. Offers sell it.

Think of it as a two-step flow now:

  1. One-Time Purchases tab — this is where you build the workouts, videos, or PDFs.

  2. Offers tab — this is where you set the price, packaging, and landing page, and where you grab your share links.

The OTP Program concept on its own no longer carries a price or a link — that all lives in the Offer that wraps it.

Nice touch: when you create a brand new OTP Program, Playbook now auto-fills its name and cover image onto the Offer for you. That means less duplicate data entry — once your Program is built, you mainly just need to add your price and adjust the landing page from the Offer.

2. Pricing and landing pages moved to Offers

You'll notice the landing page editor and pricing fields are no longer on the OTP Program edit screen. That's intentional — they've moved to the Price & Package tab inside Offers. If you want to change your price, head to Offers, find the Offer wrapping your Program, and manage it from there.

If an Offer packages more than one Program together, its landing page can now showcase each Program individually, along with the specific workouts inside it — similar to what individual OTP Program landing pages used to show, but now built to flex for multi-Program Offers.

3. Your Program links now point to Offers

Under Share on a Program, you'll see the links for whichever Offer(s) that Program belongs to, instead of a standalone checkout link. If a Program is included in more than one Offer, click Links on the Program to see every Offer it's part of and grab the right one.

Note: the Share option only appears on Programs that are Published. If your Program is still in Draft or has been Archived, you won't see a share link at all — publish it first.

4. If a Program belongs to more than one Offer

If you've packaged the same Program into multiple Offers at different price points, any legacy or shared link will send buyers to the cheapest Offer that includes it by default. If you want a customer to land on a specific price, share the link directly from that specific Offer instead of the Program's general link.

5. Hiding an Offer hides everything inside it

Marking an OTP Offer as Hide hides every Program packaged inside it. Heads up: if a Program is included in both a hidden Offer and a visible one, it will still show up in the consumer app through the visible Offer.

We've also added nofollow tags to hidden OTP landing and checkout pages, so search engines won't index them — closing a gap where hidden offers were previously discoverable through Google search.

6. A few inactive Programs were cleaned up automatically

As part of this update, we did some housekeeping:

  • Programs with no price and no purchase history were set to Draft. If this happened to one of yours, it was inactive with nothing tied to it — head to the Offer Builder to price and publish it whenever you're ready.

  • A small number of comped-access Programs became hidden Offers priced at $1, since that's how they were originally being used.

If a Program you were actively using changed status and this doesn't sound right for your account, reach out to support and we'll take a look.

FAQ

What links should I share to my OTP Programs now?

OTP Programs no longer have a standalone checkout link. Grab your link from the Program's Share button, or head to Offers, find the Offer that contains the Program, and copy the checkout or landing page link from there. Your old links still work — they'll redirect correctly — but Offers is the right place to share purchase links going forward. Keep in mind the Share button only shows up once a Program is Published.

I shared a link to my OTP and it's showing a different price than I expected — why?

If the Program is included in more than one Offer, shared/legacy links route to the cheapest Offer by default. This is intentional. If you want a specific price shown, share the link directly from that Offer.

Will my old OTP landing pages and checkout links still work?

Yes. All existing OTP landing page and checkout links continue to work exactly as before. Nothing is broken. We recommend switching to Offer links going forward, but there's no rush.

My OTP Program's landing page editor disappeared — where did it go?

For OTP Programs, the landing page and its link moved to the Offers tab and are no longer shown in the Programs view. The page itself still exists and still works. If your Program is set to Subscription rather than OTP, it keeps its own landing page in Programs as before.

I can't find the pricing option on my OTP Program anymore.

Pricing for OTP Programs is now set at the Offer level. Go to Offers, find the Offer wrapping your Program, and manage price there — or open the Program, go to its Price & Package tab, and it'll redirect you to the right Offer.

One of my Programs changed to a Draft Offer and I didn't do anything — what happened?

A small set of Programs with no price, no user access, and no purchase history were automatically set to Draft during this update, since they were inactive. This was intentional cleanup, not something you need to undo — publish the Draft Offer from the Offer Builder anytime you want it live.

How do I hide my OTP Program?

Hide the Offer that wraps it — hiding an Offer hides every Program inside it. Just remember: if that Program is also part of another Offer that isn't hidden, it will still be visible in the consumer app.

I want to start selling an OTP from scratch — where do I begin?

Two steps: (1) go to OTP Programs and build your content, then (2) go to Offers, create an OTP Offer, add your Program to it, and set the price and landing page. Once you publish, grab your share link from the Offer. Playbook will auto-fill the Offer's name and cover image from your Program to save you a step.

Can I still set up an Exclusive Offer?

Yes, fully — the self-serve flow in the Offer Builder is unchanged by this update.

Did my Subscription Program's landing page disappear too?

No. Subscription Programs keep their own landing page in the Programs tab. Only OTP Program landing pages moved to Offers.

Can a Subscription Program belong to multiple Offers like an OTP Program can?

Not yet. To sell the same Subscription Program under different offer types today, duplicate it and change the sell-through setting on the copy.
