Once your one-time purchase (OTP) is live, it becomes locked for editing. This is intentional and ensures a consistent experience for every customer who purchases the program.
Why Are OTPs Locked?
One-time purchases are designed to be fixed digital products that are similar to buying an eBook or online course. Once a customer purchases, they gain permanent access to that specific OTP. Locking the program helps:
Prevent confusion if content changes after someone has purchased
Ensure that what a customer buys is exactly what they viewed at checkout
Maintain product integrity and fairness across your audience
What If I Need To Make a Change?
If you’d like to update or fix something in a live OTP (like replacing a video, updating a PDF, or tweaking text), reach out to the Playbook team and we’ll make the change for you.
Contact us via the Help Dashboard in your Creator App or email [email protected].
We recommend only making the following changes once an OTP is live:
Updating or replacing content (videos, PDFs, descriptions, etc.)
Fixing typos
Making small formatting adjustments
Adding missing assets
Can I Archive or Duplicate my OTP?
You can archive an OTP to hide it from your channel so new users won't be able to view or purchase it. However, users who have already purchased the OTP will still retain access.
Note 1: once the OTP is archived, the links to its sales page, checkout page, and deep link will no longer work.
Note 2: if a workout is archived and a user has downloaded and/or favorited it, users can view workouts that have been favorited or downloaded even if you archived them. These workouts will be listed in the respective 'Downloads' and 'Favorites' sections of the consumer app under Profile.
You can also duplicate an OTP if you want to rework the product or launch a new version. Both archiving and duplicating an OTP can be accomplished by navigating to your One Time Purchase tab in the Creator Dashboard, clicking the three dots to edit the OTP, and selecting Archive or Duplicate.
